Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.46% in November 23–Monday
MOSCOW, Dec 1 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation accelerated to 0.46% from November 23 through Monday from 0.18% in the previous week, and reached 7.51% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The prices for buckwheat rose by 1.13%, for eggs by 1.11%, for sugar by 0.66%, for sunflower seed oil by 0.39%, for chicken meat by 0.1%, for flour by 1.1%, for noodles by 0.42%, for white bread by 0.58%.
The prices for fruit and vegetables decreased by 0.4% on average, with the tomato prices falling 3.12%, for carrots 0.56%, apples 0.39%, cucumbers 0.22% and onions 0.23%. At the same time, cabbage price grew by 3.31% and potato ones by 0.33%.
The prices for gasoline increased by 0.1%, for diesel fuel by 0.7%.
